How are urban environments affecting our health?

WIN ONE OF 5 TRIPS TO SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA!

The Fit City competition, sponsored by the Oxford Health Alliance, is an international competition for young people designed to provoke thought and discussion about the impact that urban environments have on our health.

They are looking for young people, aged 18–27, to submit their ideas or examples that demonstrate aspects of healthy urban environments or healthy urban design.  Submissions may include photos, videos, songs, sounds, drawings, art, designs, writing, or anything else that can be submitted electronically.  Examples that demonstrate aspects of unhealthy urban environments or design will also be accepted.

All entries can be submitted online at www.fit-city.org

After the competition closes on 11 December 2007, the top 5 entries will be selected and the winners will be awarded a trip to Sydney, Australia, in February 2008, where they will be given the opportunity to showcase their submissions, and the submissions of their peers, at the annual global summit of the Oxford Health Alliance.

The Fit City competition is now open to submissions! To find out more or to submit an entry, visit them at: www.fit-city.org
