AfH at RIBA Knowledge Community forum on Haiti

Trustees, Katherine McNeil and Jennifer Cirne represented AfH UK at a meeting organised by the RIBA Knowledge Comminity for Development and Disaster Relief  to discuss how charities and other organisations are responsing to January’s earthquake in Haiti, and opportunites for knowledge sharing and collaboration.

The event was hosted by RIBA on 22nd February 2010 and included representatives from organisations inculding:  ASF UK, Oxford Brookes University, UCL, Article 25, Shelter Centre, Red R, Westminster University & John Mc Aslan + Partners.

Each organisation discussed their plans for work in Haiti.  Findings will be distributed through the RIBA Knowledge Community for Development and Disaster Relief.

 

Engineering…Making the Difference, Engineers Without Borders

Engineers without Borders has invited AfH UK to show work and projects as part of their exhibition “Making the Difference”.  It will be held at the office of Buro Happold, located at 17 Newman Street, London, W1, from Tuesday 9th March for 3 weeks.
