The Archituks, in their own words, “are three foolhardy, intrepid explorers” who set out from Birmingham “on a perilous journey across 3,500km of India's most treacherous terrain” on a Richshaw Run to raise money for Architecture for Humanity.
They took a mere three weeks, with no training, planned route, and absolutely zilch mechanical knowledge to journey from Shillong in the north eastern territory of Assam, to Kochi in the southern peninsular state of Kerala in a 7 horsepower “glorified lawnmower”.
A big thank you to Ben Myers, Tom Shenton, Rico Caccaitore who raised a fantastic £1,582.50 for AFH UK and CoolEarth.
