The Brixton Remakery is a workshop hub for recycling discarded items by transforming them into new things. AfHUK was commissioned to design the layout of the Remakery, which is located in an underground garage in Loughborough Junction. One of the aims of the Remakery is to provide skills training and employment opportunities for local people. The Remakery was a self-build project, with support from the community. Throughout the building process, regular co-design days brought together the creative talents of our volunteers.
